SIVANZ at CRC SpeedShow

Mike, Jody and I had a ball at the CRC Speedshow on 20-21 July. We met so many really nice car guys and girls. We talked to SIVANZ members and we talked to other automotive organisations about what we’re doing and what synergy may be between SIVANZ and other groups. It’s all very exciting.

But right now we need to say thanks to all those people who took the time to stop and talk with us. A lot already knew about SIVANZ which was really encouraging and there was an almost gasp of surprise in some people who “discovered” SIVANZ at the show. Once they found out that we cater for individuals you could almost detect the relief in the faces. A number of people made physical introductions between us and other show exhibitors. They saw the joint potential in SIVANZ and others immediately and actually took the time to ensure the two groups met and talked at the show.

We had good interest in the Special Interest Manufacturers and Suppliers industry group (SIVMAS) over the weekend as well. There was a lot of interest in the industry survey results we had up on the stand. The full survey results will be sent to the participants by mid-August all going well. We talked to business owners about the strong linkage between SIV businesses and their customers; us, car owners. As change affects a car owner so too will it impact SIV businesses. Both need to be a healthy sate to grow and prosper. Anyway, we have some follow up work to do here as well so the next few weeks will be busy for us.
